On Friday, November 1, 2019, STAND (Students Taking Action for A New Direction), held its first meeting of the 2019-2020 school year. This committee is comprised of two students from each grade, grades  6-12, from both middle schools, high schools, and the Page County Technical Center.

Students met at the Page County Technical Center and were provided lunch. This year Megan Gordon, of PACA, and Darryl Haley, a former New England Patriot, and local businessman, are assisting Dr. Wendy Gonzalez with the discussion groups. Students were divided into three rotating groups, discussing a variety of topics to help improve schools.

This committee will meet three times during the school year, each time discussing topics to help improve the quality of our school division.
