Page County Public Schools was recently recognized as a Business of the Year by the Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services in Harrisonburg. Lance Moran, Assistant Superintendent  of Human Resources and Business Operations, attended the Champions of Disability Employment Awards Celebration on October 24, 2019 and accepted the award on behalf of PCPS. 

A huge shout-out to Page County Public Schools employee, Lisa Brown, who helps our students transition with the skills necessary to be hired by our school system. 

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month, and each year DARS recognizes companies, partners, and individuals who are champions of change. Page County Public Schools was recognized for hiring multiple DARS clients in support positions this year, providing support and accommodations needed for job success.
