Page County Public Schools Celebrates School Board Appreciation

Mr. Jim Grimley --Chairman-at-Large

Mr. Grimley, most recently selected by the school board members as their Chairman-at-Large, shared some of his background to better help our community get to know him. He is a graduate of Frostburg State University, in Western Maryland, where he received his degree in Elementary Education and he obtained his Master’s degree from James Madison University in Educational Supervision and Administration.

He’s a former Page County teacher and Shenandoah County administrator. After his retirement,he began working for ODU and JMU as a university supervisor, working with student teachers in different classrooms around the valley. He has had the privilege of attending several FCCLA National and State Leadership conferences, and he's assisted in judging some events in the past.

His hobbies include working on simple wood projects, or around his 200 year old house, where there is never a lack of things to be done. He is married, has 3 children, and 2 grandchildren. He looks forward to serving the citizens of Page County in his new role as Chairman at Large. Thank you, Mr. Grimley. We appreciate your time and dedication to Page County Public Schools.
