Shenandoah Valley Soil and Water Conservation District Committee Selects Luray Middle School's Chris Riley as the  2020 Conservation Teacher of the Year.

Shenandoah Valley Soil & Water Conservation District's (SVSWCD) Education Committee has named the 2020 Conservation Teacher of the Year for grades 6-12.  Chris Riley, 6th grade Science teacher at Luray Middle School, has been selected as the 2020 recipient of the 2020 Conservation Teacher of the Year. 

The SVSWCD  selects teachers that incorporate the environment and conservation into their curriculum.  

 Plans to recognize this year's winners will be announced at a later date. 

Additionally, the SVSWCD will be submitting an application to the VASWCD's State Conservation Education Teacher of the Year Awards Program. 

Congratulations, Mr. Riley, on a job well-done. You are an asset to Luray Middle School and Page County Public Schools .
