6th grade students in Introduction to Computer Science class at Page County Middle School built towers out of only paper as a pre activity for the Problem Solving Process. They had to develop a building plan with their partners. The students had 20 minutes to construct the tallest tower they could out of 20 sheets\ of paper, and only paper. They could fold, bend, twist, cut, or whatever they wanted to do with the paper, but it had to stand alone for at least 30 seconds without collapsing.
