7th History class at Page County Middle School enjoyed a World War I Station Rotation activity.
The stations included making poppies from cupcake liners for the Veteran's Day celebration, a vocabulary matching game to reinforce key terms, an adaptive AI room on MagicSchool using a 1917 map of Europe to explore Allies, Central, and Neutral powers, analyzing a political cartoon to practice critical thinking, watching a BrainPop video and reading an article about the Christmas Truce. Students had a great time reviewing, and it was the perfect activity to do after a long weekend.

Participating in these types of activities helps to reinforce material that has been taught about World War I and creates a lasting impression on students by making it creative and immersive. Many thanks to ITRT Nichole Brumfield for her help in in planning and delivering the lesson.
