Our returning Girls Who Code members, who maintained good academic standing were
treated to a sweet reward! The girls built 3D-printed gingerbread houses and created light-up Christmas trees to take home using cardstock, conductive nylon tape, LEDs, a coin battery, and a 3D-printed star.

Along the way, they reviewed positive and negative DC currents by wiring the LEDs in a parallel circuit—learning while having fun! Of course, no festive celebration is complete without hot chocolate in holiday cups. A huge thank you to Mrs. Brumfield for planning such a creative, hands-on, and memorable activity!
