Practical Nursing II students from Page County Technical Center recently completed their clinical rotation at Sentara RMH Family Birthplace. Students provided care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. They gained hands-on experience in the OR during cesarean births and observed newborn circumcisions and lactation consultations. Students also conducted newborn assessments, administered medications, and provided newborn baths.
We're incredibly proud of the confidence, compassion, and professionalism these student nurses demonstrated as they continue to grow into competent, practice-ready professionals.
