The "mane" attraction for the Cosmetology I students has recently been the completion of artificial hair competencies. They have been working on a variety of temporary techniques, including halo enhancements, clip-ins, and fashion pieces. They are understanding the differences and advantages or disadvantages of human hair attachments versus synthetic. The Cosmetology II students are working hard on their speed and accuracy of foiling, color, and various specialty perm wraps. Cosmetology students will continue to accept public clients by appointment through the beginning of March. Appointments are typically on Wednesday or Thursday mornings at 8:45.
