🩺Congratulations to our Practical Nursing II students! 🩺
This week, our Practical Nursing students completed their 108-hour clinical preceptorship—an incredible milestone on their journey to becoming nurses.
The preceptorship experience is designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world nursing practice. During this time, students transition into a more independent role, working one-on-one alongside an experienced nurse preceptor. By following their preceptor’s schedule, students gain a true understanding of the daily responsibilities, pace, and expectations of the nursing profession.
Each student selected a facility or specialty area aligned with their future career goals, allowing them to build confidence, refine clinical skills, and begin shaping their professional identity in the environment where they hope to practice after graduation.
We are proud of the dedication, growth, and professionalism each student has demonstrated throughout this experience. The future of nursing is in good hands. 💙
🎓 Graduation will be held on May 7 at 6:00 PM at Luray High School. We look forward to celebrating this achievement with our students, families, and community!
