SCA AT LURAY HIGH SCHOOL KICKS OFF FOR GREAT START TO THE SCHOOL YEAR
Luray High School SCA is in full swing! SCA had a booth in the Commercial building all week during the Page County Fair to promote student involvement and educate students and parents about its function. There was an entire school assembly to introduce students to the purpose of SCA and to help them find ways that they can be involved. Yesterday, students learned about the democratic process of electing representatives for their grade level and how to make their voices heard by voting. The student election process will be on-going this week.
The SCA Executive Committee has already been set and includes:
President: Lauren Good
Vice President: Summer Forder
Secretary: Trinity Hasse
Treasurer: Jaidyn McClung
Media Coordinator: Laurel Webb
Also this week, there is a pep rally Friday and a Pep bus will be provided for Friday's rival game vs the Page County Panthers!
