When it comes to Administrative Professionals, we have the best at LHS! Thank you, Mrs. Turner, Mrs. Nichols, and Mrs. Montgomery-Atkins, for all you do for Luray High School. You are greatly appreciated by everyone.

Yesterday, the Luray High School Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica came to read to Luray Elementary school’s English Learner students. The elementary children were so excited to read with the big kids and to listen to some of the stories read to them in their home language. Our English Learners even helped the high school students by correcting their accents and pronunciation of words. What a great experience for all involved.

LHS Juniors get a "Reality Check."

On Friday, students in Mrs. Jenkins' Computer Science Foundations class were given the opportunity to practice programming robots. Specifically, they were able to program Sphero robots to follow a path while changing pictures and sounds. Through this exercise, students honed their problem-solving, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills.

Scheduled camps at PCPS this summer.

This is an important message from Luray High School:
As posted and emailed earlier in April, we will be conducting lockdown drills at LHS the week of April 24th. They will be done by grade level so that we can review procedures and answer questions. These will be drills with faculty and students.
