Good Morning Bulldog Families,
I am writing to inform you of a change in our student's daily schedule starting December 2nd when we return from Thanksgiving break. We are moving our Homeroom/Advisory period from after lunches to the end of the school day. Doing so will allow us to help protect instructional time for students who leave early for sports/activities and appointments. In addition, we have added an extra five minutes to the Homeroom/Advisory period to help with those receiving academic interventions and the implementation of our Social-Emotional Curriculum with all students. This will not change the start and end times of our school day nor reduce the instructional blocks already established this year. We were able to accomplish this by reducing the transition times between our major instructional blocks and the time we had allotted for morning announcements.
