THIS IS A REMINDER FROM PCPS:
There will be NO SCHOOL for students on Monday, November 2, 2026, for a Teacher Work Day and Parent/Teacher Conferences. Conferences run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please check with individual schools to make appointments with teachers and to find out when teachers will be breaking for lunch.
There is also NO SCHOOL on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, as this is Election Day and some schools are used as voting locations. Offices WILL be OPEN during regular hours.
School will resume normally on Wednesday, November 4, 2026.

Bring the whole family the Luray Middle School on Wednesday, October 28th from 5:00–6:30 PM for an evening full of fun, games, candy, and costumes! Families can walk around to our decorated trunk-or-treat stations, play games, and even step into our haunted house—if you dare! Hungry? Grab dinner from El Amigo Food Truck or Ice Cream from Miles for Smiles! Costumes are encouraged — just no weapons or full face masks, please. It’s going to be a fang-tastic night you won’t want to miss!

Show your spirit! Luray Middle School RED RIBBON WEEK begins Monday, October 19th!
The Luray Middle School PALs Club members ventured to Luray Elementary School 3rd grade classrooms to complete a haunted house craft for the month of October. PALs Club encourages middle school students to be mentors and positive role models for LES students. Each month the club members will visit two 3rd grade classrooms to work on crafts, social and reading skills.

At Luray Middle School, we encourage our students to show compassion and kindness each day. We are so proud of the members of our cross country team who did just that at the meet against Peter Muhlenberg Middle School last week when a pair of LMS XC runners helped an opponent across the finish line after he began to have severe leg cramps. Way to go Bulldogs! Sportsmanship in action!
