Career and Technical Education Month is February and we are celebrating the programs within our schools. Check out our Future Farmers of America: FFA members raised a market steer on campus of PCHS and the meat was then purchased by Warren County Farm Bureau and donated to “Reaching Out Now” a program that feeds the hungry in the community. Pictured is FFA members delivering their finished product to “Reaching Out Now”.

We are also still celebrating Career and Technical Education Month at PCPS. Page County High School FFA members have had a busy fall and winter. We hosted our Food for America program, collected items for senior citizens in a nursing home for the holidays, gave funds to support the giving tree at PCHS, held a goat show that was judged but a special guest judge Mr. David Cale, and we are gearing up for our livestock judging trip to Virginia Tech.

Her dedication to the music program is amazing, often working late nights and weekends to get things done and organized. Tell Me Something Good - Ms. Elizabeth Kite--Librarian--Stanley Elementary School 1) "My daughter absolutely adores Ms. Kite. She is always telling me about how Ms. Kite reserved her next favorite book so she can check it out and always tells me the stories Ms. Kite shares during library time. Ms. Kite even sent my daughter a nice postcard with a sweet message. Thank you Ms. Kite for always being so kind and for sharing so many different inspiring stories with the students." --Carissa Miller 2) "Mrs. Kite is an absolute gem found at Stanley Elementary School. Both of my kids absolutely adore library and come home excited to show me the books that they have chosen for the week. Mrs. Kite knows all of their likes and hobbies and several times has had books set to the side that she knows my kids will enjoy (which I'm sure she does for all the students). She is truly an inspiration to us all. I have noticed a change in the diversity in the available books that my children bring home; from books featuring people of color to those with families made up of all combinations including being raised by grandparents or adoption. She even has an endless supply of non-fiction for my kid that "only likes facts".
