Counselors will also be available for students, just like the teachers, with “office hours.” They will continue to do all other duties, including college applications, scholarships, academic career plans, etc. Schoology will be used to send group messages for announcements and updates for grade levels.

HS Music Programs: Music classes will meet virtually for lessons, with the possibility of using virtual tools to watch live, or to have students record themselves and submit videos for feedback. Some after school activities are being planned for the program.

HS Teacher and Student Communication for SY 2020-2021:

Communication will be of utmost importance this school year. Teachers are incorporating “office hours” into their plans in which students may contact teachers for assistance. Weekly communication will be made by the Seminar/Advisory Teacher. These calls will be to check in with students to be sure they are  making sufficient progress, and to see if there are any questions or concerns. These teachers will also assist with any resources that may be needed. If a student indicates to their advisory teacher that they need assistance, the advisory teacher will then provide contact information for that teacher to the student. Weekly communication and contact will be made by phone, email, and/or virtually.
