electricity students practice wiring an electrical box

Electrical level one students at Page County Technical Center have been working on a wall project that consists of a circuit to a single pole switch controlling a light and also a receptacle circuit. Each project gets a little more challenging as the year progresses. By the end of the first year students will know how to terminate panels, wire a single pole, 3-way, and 4-way switches along with different types of receptacles and residential types of devices.

The Electricity program at Page County Technical Center has always been a popular choice amongst students. Skills, such as electricity, provide students opportunities to enter directly into the trade upon graduation if they so choose.
