Friday, October 7th, students in Ms. Bailey's 1st Grade class at Shenandoah Elementary School, participated in a "mystery science experiment." Students combined water, vegetable oil, food coloring and Alka-Seltzer tablets. Students made hypotheses beforehand and drew their observations throughout. At the end, we discovered they actually had made homemade lava lamps! Students were very intrigued by the results.
