Dear Springfield Elementary Faculty, Staff, and Families, I am writing to share news regarding the leadership at Springfield Elementary School. Beginning July 1, 2025, Dr. Martina Carroll will be transitioning to an exciting new opportunity as the Supervisor of Student Support Services with Shenandoah County Public Schools. This promotion follows three years of dedicated service to our students, staff, and families. While we are sad to see Dr. Carroll leave, we are grateful for the leadership she has provided to Springfield Elementary and to Page County Public Schools. We will begin the process of selecting a new principal in the coming weeks and will keep you informed throughout. Faculty, staff, parents and guardians will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the characteristics and attributes you would like to see in the next principal through a survey. Please join me in congratulating and thanking Dr. Carroll for her outstanding work at Springfield Elementary School. Thank you, Dr. Fox
