Good Afternoon, Despite a major snow-clearing effort by our maintenance team over the past two days, we still do not feel that our facilities, nor community roads, are safe enough to access schools tomorrow. With that in mind, all PCPS schools will be closed on Wednesday, January 28. This closure includes 12-month employees. All PCPS facilities will be closed as we continue to work on getting buses dug out, sidewalks cleared, and parking lots accessible. We will continue to monitor this situation in an effort to reopen schools and activities as soon as we can.
Thank you for your cooperation, patience, and understanding. Please be safe.
Dr. Paul D Johnson
Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources & Business Operations

Superintendente interino, Dr. Paul Johnson.

As you know, our entire county is under snow and ice, and the storm is forecast to continue through Sunday night. Extreme cold is going to challenge our road-clearing efforts. With that in mind, all PCPS schools will be closed on both Monday and Tuesday, January 26 and 27, 2026. All PCPS facilities will be closed so that our teams can work on clearing on Monday and Tuesday.
Thank you for your cooperation, patience, and understanding. Please be safe.

If so, we invite you to nominate them for our “Row the Boat” award. Individuals who are nominated for this award will be recognized by the division on social media and other media platforms. They will also be presented with a certificate recognizing their efforts and dedication to the students of Page County Public Schools. Each supporter who clicks your student's link earns an entry for a chance to win a Disney trip. More clicks = more entries! For example, if five different people click the link, your family gets five entries into the drawing!
Pro Tip: After sending invitations, follow up with a phone call to make sure they received the message.
Why I love this program:
Every student gets new, age-appropriate books.
100% of contributions go to books and classroom supplies.
Takes less than 10 minutes and NO financial requirement from you.
Check out the attached book list—it's amazing!
More books at home = more reading! We're aiming for 100% participation

PCPS Parents and Community Members,
For more than 20 years, the Page County community has hosted an annual event honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., celebrating his contributions to justice, equality, and nonviolent action. This year, Page County Public Schools is expanding this tradition to include all students. Each school has scheduled an assembly to
celebrate Dr. King, and community members are welcome to attend any of these assemblies. Visitors should report to the school’s main office upon arrival, where they will be escorted to the assembly.
The schedule for all these assemblies is attached.
