Ms. Kay McDaniel-- Transportation Ms. McDaniel has been with Page County Public Schools for the past 28 years. She has served all of these years within the transportation department. Ms. Cindy Miller--Finance Specialist--Central Office Ms. Miller has been with Page County Public Schools for 46 years!! Wow! What an accomplishment. During those 46 years she has held many titles within the school system. She now serves as Finance Specialist for the division. Ms. Tonya Gray--Special Education Administrative Professional / Finance Specialist Ms. Tonya Harlow Gray has been with the division for 16 years. She began as a substitute back in 2006. She moved into Special Education Assistant for Stanley Elementary and Page County Middle School 2007-2009. From 2009-2019 she served as Administrative Professional at Page County Middle School and then moved to her current position as Finance Specialist/Special Education Administrative Professional at Central Office. Ms. Gray says she enjoys spending time with her family and doting on her grandchildren. She says her proudest accomplishment is being a mom and grandmother, and that there's no better feeling than seeing their eyes light up when they see you. Ms. Kim Burton --Attendance/ Enrollment Specialist/ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Central Office Ms. Burton has been with Page County Public Schools for the past 14 years. When asked what advice she would give her younger self, she said, "Relax, and don't be so critical of yourself." When she's not at a school, she enjoys family time with her husband, kids and her granddaughter. She also loves camping, fishing and 4 wheeler rides. Thank you, Ms. Burton, for your dedication to Page County Public Schools. You are appreciated. Ms. Linda Breeden-Wallace Central Office --Accounts Payable Specialist/ Clerk of the Board/FOIA Officer Ms. Breeden-Wallace has been with Page County Public Schools for the past 17 years. She serves as Accounts Payable Specialist at Central Office and as the Clerk of the Board and FOIA Officer for the district. When she isn't working, Ms. Breeden-Wallace enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with my husband, children, and grandchildren. If she could go anywhere in the world, she'd go to Scotland because it is beautiful and she is fascinated by the country's history. Thank you both for all you do for Page County Public Schools. Mrs. Shannon Atkins--Bookkeeper--Luray High School Mrs. Atkins has worked for Page County Public Schools for the past 15 years. While she is currently serving as Bookkeeper at Luray High School, she has also worked as special education assistant, and a Pre-K assistant. Shannon says if she could give advice to her younger self it would be to enjoy every single moment. Travel if you are able and experience new things, and don't sweat the small stuff. Mrs. Atkins feels the best thing about being in education is when former students come and tell you what a difference you made in their lives. Ms. Elizabeth Reed--Page County Technical Center Ms. Reed has been with Page County Public Schools for the past 21 years. She has served in many roles during her time with the school system including long-term substituting positions, assistant, and currently bookkeeper/ administrative professional. When asked what advice she would offer her younger self, she said, "Never ever, stop learning. Learn a trade, get a certification, a degree, just do something that fulfills you and makes you happy. " Having earned her bachelors degree as an adult, she says she is ready to go back to school again to see what else she learn. Her greatest pleasure is her granddaughter and she's expecting another grandchild soon. She says, Every time my granddaughter calls me "BeBe" it makes me smile and laugh like I never could have imagined. What a blessing!" Autism Acceptance Month
Wednesday, April 27, 2022, is Administrative Professionals Day, but we are honoring our unsung heroes all week long! Ms. Kelly Turner-- Page County Middle School Ms. Kelly Turner has been with Page County Public Schools for the past 20 years. Over those 20 years she she has worked in the kitchen at Springfield, PALS, Pre-K Assistant, Luray Middle School Assistant, then secretary. She then took the position of Bookkeeper at Luray High School, and now serves as Bookkeeper at Page County Middle School. Ms. Turner has two children, Makenzie (25) and Kanaan (5) She enjoys spending time with her family just grilling and hanging out. She loves to watch the bond that her daughter and son have with one another. Ms. Turner says the best part about her job as the Bookkeeper (Administrative Professional) is helping others. She especially loves the kids who stop in the office just to say hello and share their day. She says, "I'm glad they can confide in me, and I have grown a close bond with some of them." Ms. Charlotte Stidham--Luray Middle School Mrs. Stidham has been with Page County Public Schools for the past 15 years, serving at Luray Elementary, Luray High, and now serves at Luray Middle School. She says when she is not working she enjoys reading, crafts, playing Bingo, yard sales and craft shows. Ms. Stidham has four children, and says they are her greatest accomplishment in life. If she could go anywhere in the world, she'd go to Hawaii. She's never had the opportunity to go, but has had several friends travel there and she loves to look at their pictures. Mrs. Robin Cubbage--Springfield Elementary School Mrs. Cubbage has been with Page County Public Schools for the past 27 years. She spent her first 16 years at Luray Elementary School as a Title 1 Math Instructional Assistant. She says she enjoyed her time there with the kindest students and staff. She was awarded the opportunity to move to Springfield Elementary School in 2011, and has been there every since. She says, "I love Springfield. Everyone works so hard to ensure they provide the best for each and every student. My favorite part is interacting with the students, staff and parents." When asked what motivates her, she said, "I love to help others by doing things that might make their day better or easier." When she's not at Springfield, you can find her spending time with her family, especially her three grandchildren! Thank you, Mrs. Cubbage, for all that you do for the Springfield Community. We couldn't do it without you!!

Ms. Beth Rowe--Page County High School Ms. Rowe has been working within the division since 2008. She has served in the cafeteria, as a substitute, an Instructional Assistant, Accounts Payable Clerk, and currently serves as the Administrative Professional at Page County High School. When asked, What is your favorite food? Ms. Rowe responded, "Spaghetti!!" Outside of school, Ms. Rowe enjoys practicing karate (she is a brown belt in Go ju Ryu) and her Medieval European Martial Arts Guild Class. Ms. Rowe also enjoys reading, painting and drawing. Administrative Professionals Day is April 27, 2022, but we are celebrating our unsung heroes all week long. Mrs. Ellen Lukasavage--Luray High School Born and raised in New Jersey, Mrs. Lukasavage was senior in high school when she got her first job as a data entry clerk at a car dealership. From there she worked the next 15 years entering data and creating licensure tests for medical students. She moved to Stanley in 1991, and has worked at Luray High School since 1999. She says, if she could give advice to her younger self she'd say, "travel, spend time with your loved ones as often as you can." Her favorite sports teams are The Luray Bulldogs, followed closely by the Green Bay Packers. LOL While she has enjoyed her time with Page County Public Schools, Mrs. Lukasavage says, "It's time to retire. I want to spend more time with my husband, and my sweet cat, Shadow Sugar Plum" Mrs. Lukasavage will be retiring at the end of this school year. We wish you all the best in your retirement years. Wednesday, April 27, 2022, is Administrative Professionals Day. However, we are honoring our Administrative Professionals all week long. They are definitely some of the unsung heroes in the division. Ms. Jennifer Adams--Page County High School --Guidance Department Ms. Adams began with Page County Public Schools in 1990, when she took the position in the main office/library at Luray High School. In 1993 she transferred to Page County High School and remained in the main office for 25 years. 3 years ago the opportunity to move into the Guidance department at PCHS opened and she as been there every since. In all, Ms. Adams has devoted 31 years to Page County Public Schools! When asked what she enjoys most about her job, she responded that the kids are what make the job the enjoyable. She says, "The majority of our kids are the kindest, most appreciative young adults, who are just looking for assistance or attention." Both of which she is always willing to provide. When posed with the question of --If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go, and and why?-- Ms. Adams responded, "If I could go anywhere, it would be Germany. I was in the Army and stationed there in the 80's and would love to go and visit again." Thank you, Ms. Adams, for the time and attention you devote to the students of Page County High School, and for your dedication to PCPS. You are appreciated.
