Happy National Boss's Day to all of our extraordinary, dedicated, and wonderful bosses within Page County Public Schools. You are appreciated!! Be sure to thank your boss today!!

The LHS FCCLA and Family and Consumer Science students provided a "Nacho Average School Year" lunch to teachers and staff while learning about safety and covid protocols for serving and preparing food. This was a great learning experience for students and FCCLA members.

The PSAT will be given at Luray High School on Saturday, October 17th 2020. Arrive at 8am and the test should end by 1pm.
(PSAT scores are used to give students an idea of areas to improve upon before taking the SAT and only students/parents see PSAT scores, not colleges. Sophomores considering applying to Massanutten Regional Governor's School are highly encouraged to take the PSAT. Juniors that take the PSAT are automatically entered in the National Merit Scholarship program.)
Masks will be required and please bring #2 pencils with you, as well as a scientific calculator. We will have some calculators available, but there may not be enough for everyone.
The cost of the PSAT test is $7. If you are an 11th grader and receive free or reduced lunch, you will qualify for a fee waiver and will not be charged a fee--please email your counselor to be placed on the list for the test. Please mail or drop off your $7 payment to LHS, 243 Bulldog Drive, Luray, VA 22835 before the day of the test. (If you write a check, please make it out to Luray High School).
Please let us know if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, October 17th!

Good evening. Per the Page County Public Schools calendar, progress reports are scheduled to go home this week (October 5-9, 2020). At the elementary level, students will receive a printed copy. At the secondary level, we are encouraging students and parents to check your child's Schoology account for the latest progress (we will not be printing reports). If you are having difficulty accessing your child's Schoology account, please reach out to your child's school. Thank you, and please share.

Today is Custodian and Maintenance Appreciation Day!!
Today is a day to stop and thank a very valuable group of people within our schools. The unsung heroes, our custodial and maintenance staff. Your hard work and dedication in getting our buildings prepared for the school year, and your day-to-day duties of cleaning and sanitizing to help keep our students and staff safe, have not gone unnoticed. Today, we celebrate you! (Pictures to come. It's hard to get these people in one place when they are so busy). Please share.❤

Students in LHS Computer Science Foundations were assigned to pick a business logo and recreate it in a black and white image using binary code (1-white; 0-black). Check out their creations!!

PCPS Nutritional Services would like some feedback regarding our meal delivery program that operated from March 17th - September 9th. Part of our program was a pilot (grant) to learn more about meal delivery. Can you spare 5 minutes (or less) of your time to share your experience? If you didn't choose to have meals delivered, we still would like to gather a bit of information from you.
You can find the survey here: https://forms.gle/chMBcYjvZkYr3ZUy8
