Feb. 24th-28th was National FFA Week. LHS FFA collected pet food and supplies for the local animal shelter. For each supply collected, students were able to vote for a teacher to wear an inflatable pig costume. Mr. Martin was the winning teacher. Thanks for an awesome FFA week!

Ms. Rines' Equine Management Class has been studying various breeds of light horses, draft horses, ponies, and donkeys. Students practiced their communication skills by requesting information about the breeds from the associations of their choice. If students receive mail back, the class participates in mail readings and shares the resources and information they have received.The class has received everything from brochures, posters, and stickers.
