Digital Awareness Tip #5
Throughout next week, February 12 - 16, 2024, along with the Virginia Department of Education and other school divisions across the state, Page County Public Schools will celebrate Kindness Week. Kindness Week is to recognize that simple day-to-day acts of kindness enable our schools, communities, and state to be a kinder place to live, work, learn, and play. Practicing and celebrating kindness is to look for the good, bridge connections across differences, restore hope, and empower people to make our communities strong and resilient.
Correction: The date originally posted for the regularly scheduled school board meeting was incorrect. The meeting is TONIGHT, February 8, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. at the Central Office Board Room.

Parents and Guardians:
Spring Sports at Luray High School will be starting soon! Please make sure you have your athlete's information completed BEFORE practices begin. If your student is planning on participating in a spring sport, please make sure they have an updated physical turned in! Additionally, we have now switched over to an online forms and data management service called FinalForms. Please make sure to register on FinalForms in order to fill out all the necessary documents for athletic participation! Click on the link to learn how to register! An integral part of the total education system, school counselors help students form healthy goals, mindsets, and behaviors; build relationship skills; and assist in planning their future career contributions to our world of work and community.

This is a reminder to anyone who may be interested in participating in wrestling, there is an informational meeting tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the LHS auditorium.
Donations are still needed for the first ever, SINGLES AND SWEETHEARTS DANCE at Luray High School. SCA is seeking packaged chips, cookies, cakes and snacks. Donations of veggie, fruit, or sandwich trays are also accepted. These items will be collected all this week. February is a busy month for celebrating. This month PCPS will recognize National Career and Technical Month, School Board Appreciation Month (including Clerk of the Board Appreciation), National School Resource Officer Day, Digital Awareness Week, IT recognition day, Black History Month, and National School Counseling Week. Please take a moment to recognize each of these groups during this month. We appreciate all that they do to support our students, our schools, and our community.
