Students in the PCTC Nurse Aide class recently completed their required clinical hours. They went to Skyview Springs and got to put what they had learned and practiced throughout the year to use! Students bonded with residents while caring for their everyday needs. It was a great experience, and a few students have already applied for jobs! Congratulations to the PCTC Nurse Aides class.

Stanley Elementary School has been cleared by the Stanley Fire Department; however, while thermal images by the Fire Department show no active fire, out of an abundance of caution to determine the cause of a potential electrical situation this morning, we will be dismissing Stanley Elementary School early. PCPS will provide transportation home for all students who need it and we will share an estimated time of departure from Stanley Elementary School shortly. If parents or guardians opt to pick up their child, please have a photo ID ready and follow all directions of staff while on site. PCPS will provide a bag lunch ad drink to all students to take home. Please be advised that students will not be able to return to their classrooms to get their belongings before being dismissed. We ask for your patience and understanding as we navigate this unexpected situation. Please stand by for more information shortly. Thank you.
