Page County Public Schools is excited to celebrate Virginia Farm to School week. Yesterday's lunch included meatloaf made with Burner's Beef meat grown in Luray. It's Taco Tuesday for lunch and we've made pico de gallo using tomatoes grown by Spring Valley Farm and Orchard in Augusta, WV; bell peppers (elementary schools) grown in Stanley, Luray, and Elkton; jalapeno peppers (middle and high schools) grown in Luray and Stanley. Special thanks to Public House Produce, PACA's Community Gardens, the Lowman Family, and an anonymous donor for the various peppers.
Today is also the annual Crunch Heard 'Round the Commonwealth. Students and staff throughout the division will be taking a "crunch" out of apples grown in Sperryville by Thornton River Orchard and Market.

It's Dell Education Month! For a full month we want to celebrate.
Starting September 30th through October 31st, teachers, staff, students, and their families can save up to $200 on select PCs* for your personal technology needs.
Share this with family and friends too - it's for everyone!
