Schedule - Friday, Dec. 16, 2022 All PCPS schools will open on a two-hour delay on Friday, December 16, 2022. Please plan to arrive at your bus stop two hours later than you normally would. Breakfast and lunch will be served at school. Additionally, please be aware that PCPS staff will continue to monitor conditions and power situations tonight and early into tomorrow morning. If conditions deteriorate to the point where it is unsafe to put our buses, student drivers, or staff on the roads, or there are significant power outages, we may have to cancel school. This decision would be made as early as possible in the morning and communicated to everyone. If you do not receive updated communication from PCPS in the morning, then we will proceed with a two-hour delay. All 11- and 12-month employees and food service employees will be contacted by their immediate supervisor with additional information. All other staff will follow the two-hour delay schedule. We thank everyone for their continued patience and flexibility as we continue to make decisions that have everyone’s safety as the primary concern and consider conditions across all of Page County. Thursday Activities: All after-school and evening activities are cancelled for today, Thursday, December 15, 2022. Make-up dates for events and activities that can be rescheduled will be shared as soon as possible. No decision has been made regarding school tomorrow, Friday, December 16. PCPS is monitoring conditions and power situations and will notify staff and families as early as possible. We hope that everyone is safe and well.

Updated Information: All PCPS schools and offices will be closed on Thursday, December 15, 2022 due to forecasted inclement weather. This will not be a remote learning day. A decision about after-school events and activities on Thursday will be made by noon tomorrow and communicated to staff and families.

Due to pending weather approaching the local area on Wed. into Thursday, Stanley Elementary is asking parents that are participating in the angel tree program to come pick up your stuff on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2022 between 8:15 am and 5:30 pm. Please try to avoid dismissal time between 3:07 to 3:45 pm. You will come to the gym doors and pick up your items there.

Don't forget about the Duke Dog Reading Program! Your prek-2nd grade student needs to read five books. Your 3rd-5th grade student needs to read three books. This is a reminder that Stanley Elementary will be having our K-1 Holiday Concert and PTO Holiday Event tomorrow evening. The K-1 concert will begin at 5:15 pm in the gym. The PTO Holiday Event will begin afterward in the back of the school at 6:00 pm. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
