On February 4th -6th, Jaxon Staples of Page County High School travelled with Page Alliance For Community Action (PACA) to Washington, D.C. for CADCA (Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America) Forum. This is a national conference based around substance prevention and how to deter our youth from using harmful substances. Jaxon attended as the sole representative for PCPS. While there, he learned skills on how to spread the word about substance prevention to our community. Wednesday, February 5th Jaxon was able to meet with Virginia Representative, Ben Cline, where he spoke to him about students' access to drugs, vapes, and other narcotics, and how we can fix this growing problem in our community.

Activities and events for Thursday, February 20, 2025, are limited to PCPS district basketball games and athletic or academic team practices. Practices may be held at the school’s discretion from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM. All other events are canceled or postponed, including the Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration. Parents/guardians must provide transportation for practices. No student will be penalized for missing practice due to unsafe roads, lack of transportation, or a parent/guardian’s decision. Staff and coaches will update families ASAP. Rescheduled dates will be shared once confirmed. Thank you.

Good evening, Out of an abundance of caution and due to low temperatures tonight, additional forecasted snow Thursday morning, and hazardous road conditions in various parts of the division, all Page County Public Schools will be closed Thursday, February 20, 2025. 12-month staff report by noon unless otherwise contacted by your supervisor.
