All PCPS schools and offices will open on a two-hour delay today, Wednesday, May 14, 2025. Please arrive at your bus stop two hours later than usual. Breakfast and lunch will be served. This delay will allow staff to continue to evaluate conditions across the division. We will communicate updates or changes if needed. Again, we thank you for your support as we navigate varied road conditions across the division to ensure everyone’s safety.

Good evening PCPS faculty, staff and families, We are sending this message in response to the rain we are currently experiencing in our area and the flood warnings that have been issued for tonight. Division staff are monitoring road conditions across the county. In order to allow everyone time to prepare, we are advising you that we may need to call a two-hour delay tomorrow to navigate potentially hazardous road conditions caused by the rainfall. If the decision is made to call a two-hour delay tomorrow, that decision will be communicated to everyone by 5:30 a.m. tomorrow morning. We also advise everyone to make preparations in the event that road conditions deteriorate, and school may have to be canceled tomorrow. Again, at this time on Tuesday evening, NO DECISION has been made regarding the schedule for school on Wednesday, May 14. We will continue to keep everyone updated and will communicate any changes to the school schedule as necessary. We thank you in advance for your continued patience as we work to ensure the safety of everyone.
