She started out as an assistant at Luray Middle and transferred to the elementary school. She can be seen in the classroom, nurses office, secretary position, and ISS. She also puts in the time as a bus driver for our students. I always enjoy going in and seeing smiling, friendly face at the front desk. She goes above and beyond to listen to each one, help them, give suggestions and find the best solutions to help each student. She will reach out if she sees a student is having a bad day and offers to talk if needed. She has the best listening ear, and for listening to parents/guardians also! Mrs. Lam is amazing in keeping a parent/guardian informed with calls on concerns or even passing along wonderful news your child has accomplished. Her kindness and smile never ends! She provides a firm foundation in science with many hands on activities. She builds strong relationships with the students that allows my child to really be loved by her. Important Bus Route Info: Notice to Parents in the Luray Area-- Bus 63 will be split between 2 buses this afternoon and there will be minimal delays. Bus 30 will cover elementary and middle school drops on Main Street, then all students on Lakewood, Millcreek, and Forest Hills Subdivision. Bus 50 will cover Leakesville Road. Bus 30 regular route will be approximately 20 min late this afternoon.

Tell Me Something Good-- Ms. Nicole Brumfield--ITRT/Track Coach --Page County Middle/ Page County High School "Mrs. Brumfield has done so much for me. She taught me environmental science and even though everything was online, I learned a ton from her. Although she's doing tech work now, I still see her at the high school and she's helped me with so many things. But what I love the most about Mrs. Brumfield is her coaching. She coaches the cross country team and goes above and beyond every single day. She runs every workout with us and makes the hardest runs fun. She brings us snacks, helps us stretch, and pushes us to be the best we can be, all while keeping us healthy. It's because of her that I love running and have gotten better at it. Mrs. B always tells us how proud she is of us and she cares about and builds relationships with every athlete or student who comes her way. She also does an amazing job of coaching the academic team. She knows so much and helps us learn everything we can. When I am with Mrs. B, every practice and every match is fun. She's the reason I love these sports and I couldn't ask for a better coach or a better person than Mrs. Brumfield. Tell Me Something Good-- Mr. Jake Schupner--Music Teacher--Luray High School "As a recent alumni I just wanted to shine some light on how amazing of a teacher he is. I learned so much in his class over my four years in high school that had nothing to do with music. He was open and honest about things going on in the world and was willing to have real conversations in his classroom. Additionally, Mr. Schupner made every student that walked through his doors feel comfortable and wanted. I have never had a teacher like him before and fully believe I never will again."--Katie Marston "Mr. Schupner loves his job, and you can tell by the way he works with the students to create music.
