Mrs. Bauserman's class did an escape room to review for their Biology SOL. Students used their knowledge of Biology topics to solve clues that gave them the combinations to the locks. They did a great job, and every team broke out!

Ms. Getz’s Honors World Geography class visited Mindrolling Lotus Garden, an international Tibetan Buddhism center located in Stanley, Virginia. We were given a presentation on the history and basic teachings of Tibetan Buddhism which included practicing meditation and a walking tour of the beautiful grounds which included a new temple, botanical gardens with waterfalls , and a pond. It was an amazing experience!

In need of a VHSL physical? This is a great opportunity. Plan NOW!

As his 36 year career begins to wind down, three special ladies of LHS decided that Mr. Ehlers needed something that would remain even after he has retired, to remind us of the impact he has had on Luray High School. Bulldog Hall will now also be known as Don Ehlers Hallway. The countdown is on, Mr. Ehlers. We wish you all the best.

Yesterday, Mr. Eisemann's class participated in a station rotation review for their SOL test. They were able to visit Rome, Paris, Moscow, and Istanbul with virtual reality, practice test questions with feedback, create art projects, and match languages. Students were engaged and learning while having fun. Thank you to our amazing ITRT, Ms. Vaughn, for her assistance on this activity.

Important Message From PCPS:
All afternoon and evening activities scheduled for today, Wednesday, May 14, 2025, have been cancelled.
Thank you.

Good morning,
Unfortunately road conditions in various locations across the division are not passable by our buses and division vehicles and some roads are closed. All PCPS schools and offices will be closed today, Wednesday, May 14, 2025. 12-month staff do not report.
This decision was not made lightly and was made out of an abundance of caution for the safety of all students, staff, and families. Any SOL testing that was to take place today will be rescheduled. Schools will be communicating information to staff and families as soon as possible. Thank you for your continued support and patience. Please stay safe today! Thank you!

All PCPS schools and offices will open on a two-hour delay today, Wednesday, May 14, 2025. Please arrive at your bus stop two hours later than usual. Breakfast and lunch will be served.
This delay will allow staff to continue to evaluate conditions across the division. We will communicate updates or changes if needed. Again, we thank you for your support as we navigate varied road conditions across the division to ensure everyone’s safety.
