Students in Ms. Weikle’s Biology class successfully completed the Monster Mash escape room activity as part of their unit on human body systems. This interactive experience helped students reinforce their understanding of the major organ systems—including the digestive, respiratory, circulatory and skeletal systems in a fun and engaging way. The activity served as an exciting lead-up to the upcoming fetal pig dissection, where students will apply their knowledge in a hands-on anatomical exploration.

This just might be the best one yet! Senior Prank of the Day!

Mrs. Bauserman's class did an escape room to review for their Biology SOL. Students used their knowledge of Biology topics to solve clues that gave them the combinations to the locks. They did a great job, and every team broke out!

Ms. Getz’s Honors World Geography class visited Mindrolling Lotus Garden, an international Tibetan Buddhism center located in Stanley, Virginia. We were given a presentation on the history and basic teachings of Tibetan Buddhism which included practicing meditation and a walking tour of the beautiful grounds which included a new temple, botanical gardens with waterfalls , and a pond. As his 36 year career begins to wind down, three special ladies of LHS decided that Mr. Ehlers needed something that would remain even after he has retired, to remind us of the impact he has had on Luray High School. Bulldog Hall will now also be known as Don Ehlers Hallway. The countdown is on, Mr. Ehlers. We wish you all the best.

Yesterday, Mr. Eisemann's class participated in a station rotation review for their SOL test. They were able to visit Rome, Paris, Moscow, and Istanbul with virtual reality, practice test questions with feedback, create art projects, and match languages. Students were engaged and learning while having fun. Thank you to our amazing ITRT, Ms. Vaughn, for her assistance on this activity.
