Toga Day to round off Spirit Week.
UPDATE: GOAL MET!!! Unbelievable! In just 2 1/2 days the $1000 goal has been met (and passed). Don't stop now! Help us to raise as much money as possible for Disabled American Veterans by honoring your veteran with a flag in our LHS Field of Flags. Please remember to complete the section to include the name of your veteran so they can be honored by name.
Luray High School seniors, currently taking Ms. Getz’s Government classes, are raising money to help support Disabled American Veterans (DAV) by honoring those who have served. They are doing this by creating their own “Field of Flags” at Luray High School for the upcoming Veteran’s Day.
By making a donation of at least $10 to DAV, a flag will be placed on your behalf in honor of someone you choose, who has served our country. DAV’s Field of Flags empowers communities to honor local veterans and raise funds that help to support our ill or injured veterans.
If you would like to make a contribution to this worthy cause, please scan the QR code on the flyer or visit LHS Class of 2026 Honors Vets (https://support.dav.org/participants/23290).
The flags will be delivered one week before Veteran’s Day, and then they will be displayed on the drive into LHS.
