Last week, Mrs. Burley's and Mr. Hammer's Spanish classes learned about Dia de los Muertos and created and designed Calaveras to represent the tradition of making sugar skulls during the holiday in Mexico.

Join us at LHS on November 20, 2023, for a Thanksgiving Event from 6:00-7:30 p.m. This event is for LHS students and their families. We will have activities for all ages. Please feel free to bring the younger siblings. This is a family event, so parents and guardians must attend with their children to enjoy in the fun.
You will have a chance to win various gift cards, including gas gift cards, and you could go home with some groceries for Thanksgiving dinner!
There will be a Q and A with the principals and PACA will have "In Plain Sight" which demonstrates what to look for in teenage drug use.

Winter Sports at Luray High School will be starting soon! Please make sure you have your athlete's information completed BEFORE practices begin. If your student is planning on participating in a winter sport, please make sure they have an updated physical turned in!
Additionally, we have now switched over to an online forms and data management service called FinalForms. Please make sure to register on FinalForms in order to fill out all the necessary documents for athletic participation! Click on the link to learn how to register!

Attention Seniors Going on Senior Trip- If you are participating in wreath sales, please make sure all orders with money are turned in by October 31st. Your next payment of $200 is due by November 6th and your third payment of $200 is due by December 11th.

The LHS Student Council Association and Senior Class will be hosting a community pumpkin painting and movie night 6-9pm on Wednesday, Oct. 25.
Admission is $5 for ages 6 and up. Elementary and middle school students & parents are welcome. Elementary aged students must be accompanied by a high school aged sibling or parent/guardian.
Bring your own pumpkin for painting. Pumpkin painting will be from 6-7pm with the movie starting around 7:15pm.
Popcorn will be served.
All proceeds will be donated to the Senior class!
