Do Something Nice Day
Tuesday's menu highlights salad greens grown at Stony Run Greenhouse in Shenandoah (Page County). These greens will be part of the salad entree choice at all schools. Students at the middle and high schools can customize their salads in our made-to-order line. Here's a look at our Asian entrée choices from today, including pork fried rice using Gore's Meat (Shenandoah County via Willow Grove Farm Market, Luray) pork and Blue Mountain Organics (Maryland) brown rice.

Parents, This is a reminder that if your are picking up your students in a vehicle you must get in the car rider line. Parents are not allowed to park in the visitor spots and walk down to pick up students or come into the office and check them out. Only true walkers will be released to parents under the awning. If they are going home early, they need to have an excusable reason (doctor's appointment, etc.) We will be monitoring this closely as it affects our attendance rates. If you have any questions, please contact the school.

Hello, As you know we recently hosted an all school live stream event called The NED Show. We trust your student was encouraged by the show which inspires everyone to become Champions at school and in life! The NED Show yo-yos are still available for purchase at school to support the free show and message. If your student has already purchased a yoyo, here is an important link to help them get off to a good start with proper string length adjustment, click here. Additionally, here are a couple of our favorite follow up home resources from The NED Show website. You may want to use these with your child as they are designed to go hand in hand with the program. The NED Pledge Champion Choices If you'd like additional resources, they are available here. And don’t forget to ask your student what they learned in the show about Never giving up, Encouraging others and Doing your best! Educating together!
